The role will partner the Head of Value Management & Sales Capability to drive the Value Management (“VM”) strategy for Singapore – maximising the value of our products through key levers of price, assortment, trading terms and promotions. He/ She will also champion the embedding of Value Management framework and capabilities for Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the market, own and competitors’ price execution across channels for insights and recommendations on pricing vs brand positioning as well as promotion optimisation
- Lead the pack price architecture analysis to identify white space opportunities and optimisation of price and pack format for leading channels
- Drive portfolio rationalisation by partnering with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams on quarterly pain tail analysis
- Project leader for VM analytics’ tools (e.g introduction of BI tool) with the support of IT, Regional and Global VM teams to drive fact-based decision making
- Partner the Head of Value Management & Sales Capability, Regional & Global VM teams to champion the VM Framework including training cross-functional teams to ensure strong VM fundamentals and adoption of methodologies, processes and tools
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree (Business, Science or equivalent)
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Value Management/ Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Finance, Strategic Planning & Execution, Management/Strategy Consulting, Data Analytics or equivalent areas
- Team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – able to work with and influence stakeholders/colleagues at all levels
- Proactive, able to work independently, possesses problem solving skills and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to structure and digest complex business issues through data analysis
- Proven project management, organisational and multi-tasking abilities combined with a driven mindset and attention to details
- Highly resourceful, creative and open to challenges
- Knowledge of Nielsen Answers will be advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint etc), analytics tools (Qilkview, Power BI etc) and salesforce systems (Distributor Management System, Salesforce.com etc)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Mandarin (spoken)
