Executive, Sales Capability (Salesforce Effectiveness)

The role will be responsible to drive sales force effectiveness via leading the overall sales execution process of Carlsberg Singapore as well as partnering the Sales Capability Lead to execute capability-building programmes for the Carlsberg Singapore salesforce.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Execution Excellence

  • To partner the Sales Capability Lead and the Sales team to drive execution excellence (“FIT”) including leading the bi-annual Picture of Success’ review, briefing of sales staff, maintenance of outlet census and more
  • To assume the role of an independent auditor for Carlsberg SG by conducting a monthly FIT audit for a defined sample size of on and off-trade outlets
  • To actively manage and drive the sales call’s quality including measurement and corrective actions with the Sales Directors & Managers, including implementation of processes and tools
  • To compute and analyse the monthly audit and sales’ calls results, including proactively review the findings with the Management, Sales and Marketing teams to drive corrective actions that can improve overall sales execution
  • To monitor the performance against the agreed sales force KPIs by leveraging on the FIT analytics’ report and independent audits’ findings, then work with the Sales Capability Lead as well as the Sales Directors & Managers to identify opportunities for improvement
  • To support the Sales Capability Lead in maintaining the key reporting platforms that can ease the accessibility for the Sales team to sales and FIT execution information

2. Sales Force Training & Development

  • To lead the sales force effectiveness’ diagnostics to identify needs & requirements, after which collaborate with the Sales Capability Lead to implement training programmes that can drive sales excellence
  • To work with the Sales Capability Lead in coordinating and executing all competency and capability-building programmes for the Carlsberg SG sales force
  • To conduct on-the-job training for Carlsberg Way of Selling (i.e Picture of Success and other best practices) for the sales force

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree (Marketing or Business)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Sales force Effectiveness, Sales Capability, Sales Operations or equivalent areas
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – able to work with and influence stakeholders/colleagues at all levels
  • Proactive, able to work independently, possesses problem solving skills and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business issues and formulate relevant and actionable recommendations
  • Highly resourceful, creative and open to challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint etc), analytics tools (Qilkview, Power BI etc) and salesforce systems (Distributor Management System, Salesforce.com etc)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Mandarin (spoken)
